Coaching
“I use coaching to unlock collective Intelligence and empower the next generation of empathic leaders.”
I strongly believe the best and most effective leadership is rooted in empathy and our relationship to power, that is why my Business and Executive Coaching focus on supporting my clients tap into empathy as a means to effective leadership, profitable business ideas and increase productivity.
I bring to coaching my over 20 years experience in International Development which includes setting up three social change organizations in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom, including the Bisi Alimi Foundation, an organisation I set up to accelerate social acceptance of LGBTQI+ people in Nigeria. I have also worked with international organizations like the UN, World Bank, EU and the rest.
My approach to coaching it is to explore how power and our relationship with power can impact the way we see ourselves and understand our journey in life. I use the principles of “Thinking Environment” to create a safe and healthy space for my client to unpack, discover and recover themselves.
I am someone who has experienced different aspects of power and how this has impacted my life and I bring this knowledge with understanding and empathy to my practice. My client will not only learn, unlearn and relearn, they will also reposition themselves for a ripple effect.
My business coaching method of understanding the “people, purpose and profit” have helped my clients understand the importance of impact and legacy.
“I use coaching to unlock collective Intelligence and empower the next generation of empathic leaders.”
My business coaching method of understanding the “people, purpose and profit” have helped my clients understand the importance of impact and legacy.
I also conduct team coaching sessions, supporting companies and civil societies using the power of the thinking environment untap collective intelligence.
As a public speaker and storyteller, I also provide coaching for my clients in how to tell powerful and inspiring stories as a means to creating change.
Either as a gay man who had to come out publicly on national television in Nigeria and this leading to me fleeing my country to seek protection in Nigeria or as a Black man who had to find his way through the discourse of race in the UK, I understand the power of intersectionality and use my coaching to support groups, companies, and individuals have conversations around this within a very safe and empowering environment.
